Company history
The Premiere Group LLC is a family-owned firm located in Columbia, Missouri.
When we began
Our roots date back to the 1990s when we started as a construction services company. Acquiring the knowledge through various construction projects positioned our founders to strategically invest in and manage commercial real estate. Targeting real estate early in the company’s history is one of the reasons why Premiere has been able to allocate capital across multiple industries and asset classes.
The rest is history
Our two founders formed the original “Premiere”, a general contractor that mostly focused on industrial outdoor storage and warehouse projects in the Midwest.
The foundation as a G.C. allowed them to begin investing in commercial real estate throughout the Midwest, eventually developing relationships with high-profile tenants who desired support with regional and national expansions.
Around 2015, the owners decided to pivot the focus of Premiere to solving customer problems through private investments, forming startups, and helping businesses scale through business acquisitions. They did so while still maintaining the construction and real estate efforts.
Almost two decades after our founders began investing, The Premiere Group is nearing $1BN assets under management. Our industries span construction technology, heavy equipment, electric vehicles, renewable energy, home maintenance, construction materials fabrication and distribution, project finance, and more.
